It's been several days since I've spotted anything new at my feeders, and I was more then excited today to see not one, but two new species! I will post the first today, the Townsend's Warbler. A beautiful bird with a bright yellow head and a black raccoon like patch over it's eyes. This bird is native to the Pacific NW where I live, ranging all the way north to Alaska in the summer, and wintering here on the Pacific coast in the winter. The first picture is a male, while the second two pictures at the suet feeder are a female. Spotted 1/24/2013 at 3:30 pm.
